PLOMBIR
2016
A music video for a song by Mumiy Troll.
Moscow
Mumiy Troll presents the music video for the song "Plombir" from the maxi-single "#31YE," which is featured in Russia’s major New Year’s blockbuster film "Yolki 5" (The Fir Trees 5).
Scriptwriter and director Savva Savelyev notes: "It's a very beautiful, touching, wintery song. For the video, we came up with a story about a child searching for friends and stumbling upon an alien factory where kind-hearted humanoids are preparing New Year’s gifts for Earthlings. In one version, the song is performed by Ilya Lagutenko, and in another—by Yan Ge, an actress from the Gogol Center theater. I’d like to extend special thanks to the Artistic Director of the Gogol Center, Kirill Serebrennikov, and his wonderful team for their assistance with the filming. I hope our little film will transport viewers back to their childhood and prove once again that as the New Year approaches, miracles are bound to happen!"
