"This exhibition is a declaration of love for my dacha. It is a piece of forest with two clearings and a small house nestled between them. It's a place where squirrels leap, hedgehogs wander, and peonies bloom. It is my escape from the city to ground myself: I saw branches, I dream, and I write plays. Every year at the dacha, I reread Sasha Sokolov's 'A School for Fools' — it is the ultimate summer book. The novel's protagonist is a dreamer who calls himself Nymphaea Alba, after the forest lily. It is through his eyes, brimming with love and tears, that I see afresh each summer the apple trees and pines, the flowers, the dragonflies, the night sky. It is in his name that this exhibition is titled — a dedication to all dreamers of the countryside and those enchanted by the beauty of flowers in shades of malachite, chartreuse, and shamrock." MOKH is a multifunctional cultural space that opened in February 2023 as the Moscow representative office of the St. Petersburg-based landscape architecture bureau MOKH, founded by Dmitry Golubev and landscape architect Yuri Fomenko.
