The play for the 55th anniversary of the Taganka Theatre
The Taganka Theatre, Moscow
For the anniversary of the legendary Moscow Taganka Theater, Savva crafted a performance that was staged just once, a singular moment in time. Eschewing speeches and nostalgia, this was a contemporary ballet—an evocative tribute infused with references to the theater’s most iconic productions, such as "Hamlet," "The Cherry Orchard," and "The Lower Depths," among others.

The performance was enhanced by a captivating video installation and a selection of powerful monologues, creating a layered, multimedia experience. Live music by the band Shortparis added an electrifying atmosphere, transforming the stage into a vibrant celebration of theater’s enduring spirit—an artistic reflection on its timeless legacy.
